Lizzie Speed Carter

Lizzie is a highly accomplished Registered Nurse with over 16 years of clinical experience across the United Kingdom and New Zealand. She commenced her dermatology career in London’s prestigious Harley Street district, practising alongside leading consultant dermatologists and gaining extensive exposure to complex medical, surgical, and procedural dermatology at the highest level.

For the past six years, Lizzie has been an integral member of the Skin Specialist Centre team, serving as Senior Theatre Nurse. She plays a pivotal role within our surgical service, with advanced expertise in skin cancer surgery, complex wound management, and procedural dermatology. Her technical precision, surgical fluency, and structured clinical approach ensure the highest standards of operative safety and postoperative care.

Lizzie is widely valued for her composed, reassuring manner and meticulous attention to detail. She is deeply committed to delivering a refined, patient-centred surgical experience — ensuring every individual feels informed, supported, and confidently guided throughout their treatment journey.
