Debi Bottema

Debi has over 30 years’ experience in aesthetic medicine, with advanced expertise in injectable treatments including neuromodulation / botulinum toxin (muscle-relaxant) therapies, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and biostimulatory injectables. She has held senior clinical roles with Collagen Aesthetics, Q-Med and Galderma with extensive experience with the Restylane® range, Sculptra®, and botulinum toxin products such as Dysport®, delivered in accordance with evidence-based protocols.

Debi has a background in skin health, wound healing and plastic surgical nursing having worked at Middlemore Hospital, as well as teaching healthcare practitioners across Australia, NZ, Asia and Canada.

Her practice is grounded in detailed anatomical knowledge, clinical precision and a holistic personalised approach to patient care which is focused on facial balance and natural appearance.

Debi is widely respected by international colleagues for her technical expertise and clinical judgement while receiving positive feedback for inspiring doctors and nurses during training.

At Scars & Lasers, Debi undertakes detailed injectable assessments and works closely with our dermatologists to develop individualised treatment plans that integrate injectable treatments into a broader dermatology-led approach to facial rejuvenation.
