The fibre delivers 1470 nm laser energy, which is strongly absorbed by water in the tissues, generating controlled heat. This heat causes immediate collagen contraction, tightens fibrous septae and connective tissue, stimulates longer-term collagen remodelling, and can also help reduce small localised fat deposits. In simple terms, it tightens and remodels from underneath rather than only treating the skin surface.
