Dr Kevin McKerrow
Dr McKerrow (MBChB, FRACP, FACMS, FNZDSI) completed his basic medical training at the University of Otago. He then spent a number of years working in both internal medicine and subspecialty medicine, culminating in a Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians. His specialist dermatology training was completed in Wellington, Auckland, Scotland, London and Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr McKerrow completed his medical training at the University of Otago, followed by work in internal and subspecialty medicine at Wellington Hospital. He earned his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, with dermatology training in Wellington and Auckland. He was later awarded a Roche Research Fellowship at the University of Glasgow, served as a Clinical Lecturer in lasers at University College London, and completed a prestigious Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at the New England Medical Center in Boston, USA.
A pioneer of Mohs micrographic surgery in New Zealand since 1989, Dr McKerrow has performed over 40,000 Mohs procedures. As one of a select few dermatologic surgeons qualified in this specialised technique, he ensures the highest precision in skin cancer removal with minimal cosmetic impact.
Dr McKerrow is also a frequent speaker on surgical, cosmetic and laser topics at national and international medical conferences.
Dr McKerrow is a published author in international dermatology journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, the British Journal of Dermatology and the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr McKerrow's areas of expertise include surgical management of skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery, acne management and acne scarring, laser and light therapies and cosmetic dermatology.
