Consultation Fees
Fees range from $415-$460, depending on complexity. Additional charges apply for procedures such as liquid nitrogen or skin biopsies.
Medical Insurance
Many policies cover consultations. We are Affiliated Providers for Southern Cross. Please advise reception of your insurer when booking.
Parking
We offer 8 on-site car parks, and ample street parking is also available nearby.
Do I need a referral?
While a referral is preferred, especially for skin cancer concerns, it is not required. You are welcome to book directly. If you are concerned about a potentially urgent skin cancer, please contact our clinic and our team will assess the situation.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations.
- Late cancellations or non-attendance incur a $150 fee.
- Unpaid fees must be settled before re-booking.
ACC Consultations
If your condition is ACC-related, you must have an active claim number starting with 100.
The consultation fee is $525, which includes assessment, photography, and ARTP documentation. This fee is payable on the day and is non-refundable, regardless of whether ACC accepts the claim.

Please note that all treatment options at the Scars & Lasers require a consultation with one of our specialist dermatologists before any treatment begins. This consultation ensures you receive the most suitable and effective treatment for your needs, along with a comprehensive long-term care plan and estimate of costs.
A face-to-face consultation is required before treatment if any of the following apply:
- You are a new patient to Scars & Lasers.
- You have not had an appointment in over 18 months.
- You are presenting a new or additional concern.
Cosmetic consultations do not require a referral.
All treatments are provided solely at the discretion of your practitioner.
