Our Team

Dr Kevin McKerrow and Dr Aravind Chandran, along with our experienced team of dermatology nurses, aesthetic nurses, and administrative staff, are committed to delivering expert and compassionate care.

If you have concerns about an urgent skin cancer, please call our clinic. Our team will do their best to arrange a timely appointment if medically appropriate.

Making an Appointment

Do I need a referral?

While a referral is preferred—especially for skin cancer concerns—it is not required. You are welcome to book directly.

If you are concerned about a potentially urgent skin cancer, please contact our clinic. Our team will assess the situation and, where appropriate, prioritise your appointment.

Consultation Fees

Fees range from $425–$475, depending on the complexity and time required. Additional charges apply for procedures such as liquid nitrogen treatment or skin biopsies.

Medical Insurance

Many policies will cover your dermatology consultation. We recommend confirming with your insurer prior to booking—especially if you have an excess.

We are Affiliated Providers for Southern Cross Health Society. Please advise reception of your insurer when booking.

Opening Hours

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Appointment availability varies by specialist.

Cancellation Policy

We offer SMS reminders prior to your appointment. If you need to cancel, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

• Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or non-attendance will incur a $150 cancellation fee.
• If this fee is unpaid, you will not be eligible to book further consultations until settled.

Thank you for your understanding and support of this policy, which allows us to offer timely appointments to other patients.

ACC Consultations

If your consultation relates to an ACC injury, please provide a valid, approved ACC claim number to reception before your appointment (this usually starts with 100…).

Once reception confirms the claim is relevant to your consultation, the clinic can submit the consultation fee to ACC through the ACC online portal, with no surcharge for the consultation. The consultation may include:

• A full assessment
• Clinical photography
• Completion of required ACC documentation (ARTP form)

Please note: Consultation cover does not guarantee funding for treatment. Any proposed treatment plan must be considered separately by ACC, and reception will confirm the claim details that apply to your appointment.

Parking

We offer 8 on-site car parks, and street parking is also available nearby.

Maximising Your Appointment

To get the most from your consultation:

• Prepare a brief list or bullet points on your phone about your skin concerns.
• Communicate your concerns clearly to help us prioritise your treatment needs effectively.
• Arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for paperwork and navigation.
• If you're running late (more than 5 minutes), please call us. If you're too late, we may not be able to see you and a $150 fee will apply.
